Media Technologies and Christian Liturgical Practice

This work traces the rise of "media ministry" in Christian churches in the United States.  From churches like Ginghamsburg UMC to businesses like Midnight Oil, this detailed study explores the cultural and religious setting that gave rise to this liturgical change.  The study incorporates media studies, gender studies and cultural studies literatures to develop a comprehensive exploration of this widely practiced phenomenon.
